Well, first, for those of you who are widows, know that God loves you deeply. God honors you and cherishes you. Psalm 68 says Father to the fatherless and protector of widows is God in his holy habitation.
His preaching will turn the hearts of fathers to their children, and the hearts of children to their fathers.
Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and hold fast to his wife, and
the two shall become one flesh. This mystery is profound, and I am saying that it refers to Christ and the church
Let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity.
He said: βIn a certain town there was a judge who neither feared God nor cared what people thought.
Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.β
Praise the Lord! Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his mighty heavens! Praise him for his mighty deeds; praise him according to his excellent greatness!
And he said to them, The kings of the Gentiles exercise lordship over them, and those in authority over them are called benefactors. But not so with you. Rather, let the greatest among you become as the youngest, and the leader as one who serves. For who is the greater, one who reclines at table or one who serves? Is it not the one who reclines at table? But I am among you as the one who serves.
